Active Tourism

Zamosc and Roztocze is an excelent place for those who like spending their time actively. Wonderful views, breathtaking flora, clean and fresh air will satisfy even the most demanding tourists.
For hiking and cycling lovers there are hundreds of tourist routs leading through the most beautiful spots of Roztocze Region. 
Those who prefer water sports can enjoy themselves at the reservoirs in Jozefow, Majdan Sopocki, Zwierzyniec, Zamosc and Nielisz. The canoeing trip on Tanwia River and Wieprz River will present you with unforgetable experiences. The indor swimming pool in Zamo¶æ also has a lot to offer, you can choose from : a full-size swimming pool, 65metre slide, jacuzzi, sauna, and many more. 
Zamosc and Roztocze Region is a dream place for fishermen. You can fish for trouts on Tanew and Wieprz rivers and enjoy the peace and quiet of the area. In Roztocze there are also quite a few game-preserves, where huntsmen can hunt for game in the appointed area. The surrounding woods are famous for the plentitude of mushrooms and blackberries. 
There are many stud-farms ; you can admire the views of Roztocze while riding a horse for pleasure. 
The winter sports lovers will have a chance to ski on one of the ski slopes in Tomaszow Lubelski, Krasnobrod or Izbica. What is more local woods are a perfect place for ski- runners. In the winter season this is the place where many internation competitions take place, such as: „Hetmanski Ski-Running”, gathering hundreds of ski-runners from Poland and abroad.
